Tourism Training Needs and Industry Engagement Forum
HNL, in partnership with the Department of Tourism, Culture and Recreation, hosted a Tourism Training Needs and Industry Engagement Forum on Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at the MYX Meeting Centre in Topsail, NL. The purpose of the forum was to review the Tourism Training Needs and Industry Engagement Research final report, set priorities based on the recommendations and develop a five year action plan. Over 20 tourism training and professional development stakeholders attended the session and developed some very exciting plans for skills and knowledge enhancement for the industry.
